Campaign Strategy Guide
The best strategy for your Monetai campaign will vary depending on whether you have existing promotions running in your app.
Find out which of the following cases fits your app's situation to design the most effective campaign without disrupting the user experience.
1. If You Have No Existing Promotions
If your app isn't currently running other promotions, you can start a Monetai campaign right away.
This is the most straightforward strategy: let Monetai's AI identify non-paying users and selectively offer them promotions.

2. When you have limited-time promotions
When to use it:
This approach is ideal when you're running a limited-time promotion. For example, a 1-hour flash sale or a week-long holiday sale.
How to run it:
The goal is to run the Monetai campaign in a separate time window from your existing promotion. Schedule it to launch either before your limited-time offer begins or after it ends.

3. When you have an always-on promotions
When to use it:
Choose this strategy if your app features an evergreen promotion that's always available to all users, such as a permanent "50% Off Your First Purchase" offer.
How to run it:
Since a default promotion is always active, this strategy focuses on coordinating the timing of the Monetai offer. You'll need to decide whether to present the Monetai promotion before the default offer, or as a follow-up after a time delay.
A. The Pre-emptive Offer
Present the Monetai discount to non-paying users before they encounter your app's default promotion.

If the pre-emptive approach is possible in your app's flow, we generally recommend implementing it over the follow-up approach.
(e.g., If your always-on promotion starts 3 days after the first app launch, run the Monetai promotion within the first 3 days.)
B. The Follow-up Offer
Here, present the Monetai discount as an additional incentive if a user doesn't convert after a set period (e.g., 24 hours).

To ensure an accurate results, it's crucial to keep the baseline experience consistent.
If implementing the pre-emptive approach would require you to change the timing of your existing always-on promotion, we recommend using the follow-up approach instead. This keeps your original promotion stable, leading to more reliable results.
